Last week, I saw an article on The Coveteur in which editors curated their NYFW looks, adhering to the age-old notion that fashion week / fashion month allows the opportunity […]

July 29, 2015by Briana Lee Leave a comment

Quite often, I’m asked for reading recommendations. Rather than give long-winded synopses and reviews of the books I’ve read or re-read this summer, I’ll just link to their respective […]

Living my best iced chai life by adding boba. What’s your go-to coffee/tea order? ☕️💕 P.S. shout out to the girl who let me use her table to take photos of my tea 🙋🏼‍♀️
I’ve been having so much fun working on a new website for the creative business I’m launching! There’s literally nothing better than getting to spend time on your passion.
I love this quiet little intersection in the West Village. Any street in this city where you can stand in the middle of the road to take photos is one to love ❤️
Something I’ve learned is that dreams really do come true if you put your mind to it. For some reason, this photo represents that for me! 🥂
Don’t you wanna drive off into the sunset in this wiener-mobile?
Double tap if you’d rather be by the pool right now 🙋🏼‍♀️🌴
What’s the best book you’ve read lately or what’s one you’re looking forward to reading? I’m hoping to get my hands on Dara Horn’s book “Eternal Life” after hearing about it on one of the @bookriot podcasts. It’s about a woman born in Roman-occupied Jerusalem who makes a bargain to save her son and becomes immortal. It follows her over the next 2,000 years as she has many families and enters the 21st century where technology threatens to change everyone’s fate. Such an interesting concept! 📚 @rizzolibookstore . . . . #bookstagram #newyorkcity #nycblogger #currentlyreading #amreading #dametraveler #dailydoseofwhimsy #petitejoys #visualcrush #photosinbetween #verilymoment #flashesofdelight #shelfie #instalove #lovelysquares #postitfortheaesthetic #bibliophile #bookaddict #nycphotographer #thatsdarling #visualgang #abmlifeisbeaufiful #booknerd
Happy Monday, everyone ☺️ I thought it’d be fun today to share five facts about myself that you may not already know! —- 1. I love ballet and have seen the Bolshoi perform Swan Lake, which was a dream come true. I also once went to the ballet on the same night as the king and queen of Sweden 🇸🇪 2. I studied business and art history in college and truly have an equal passion for both even though they’re obviously super different! 🎨 3. I love a pretty wide range of films but you can be guaranteed that if it’s directed by Wes Anderson or Richard Linklater, I’m a fan. 🎬 4. Thanks to @carolinegiven, when I get a golden retriever, I plan on naming him Armie Hammer. 🐶 5. I was a scene queen in high school with platinum blonde hair 🙈
I’m curious: what inspires you creatively? A lot of my creative inspiration actually comes from movies——especially Wes Anderson films because I love his color palettes, symmetrical shots, and the way he tells stories through little details in his imagery. For these reasons, #accidentallywesanderson is my favorite hashtag to follow! The building in this photo is in Washington Mews—-I thought there was so much charm in the colors and the building’s name.
